Heartbroken

After being heartbroken so many times
it's like a part of you dies
the rest of the world continues to go on
while broken on the floor your body lies
so many tears
that those broken hearts have shed
and those certain people just watched
as your heart bled
they just pick up their things
and walk out of your life
they don't care about the pain they cause
or how they bring you strife
sometimes it makes you want to die
because you don't want to live with the pain anymore
you get tired of being broken
and your body decaying on the floor
don't tell me about heartache
I've lived through it all
to have that horrible feeling
of not having anyone to catch you when you fall
you may feel that you'll never love again
that the tears will just keep coming and you no longer have a heart
because people can't seem to understand
that it's been long torn apart
you may never forget them
or what they did to you
but just remember
there are others out there heartbroken too...
