You said you wanted to do Something, but you was too afraid
But once you was gonna do it
My mom and sister came
They said its time to get in the house now
So i stood up, but you said to sit back down for a sec.So i sat back down and waited for what you had to say
You never said anything, a minute later you just said
"You better go before its too late, hurry up and step on it"
I was confused, but i stood up anyways
And i walked away without a word
Half way home, you came up again, and said hold on
I stopped with a sigh and i turned to look at you
You still had that look on your face, that you was still confused
You gave me a kiss, but i didnt kiss back
You said you were sorry and then you turned and left
Ever since then, i regreted that night
Maybe if i would've kissed back
You'd still be here
Holding me tight... all through the night!!!!
