Fallen tears

Sitting here alone
as the tears fall from my eyes
I ask the man above
to hear my cries

crying because of heartache
that I never thought of
crying worse than ever
because of one word : love

tears streaming down my eyes
because of how much you hurt me
how could this happen?
How could this be?

I thought you loved me
for better or worse you said
I guess you got
what you really wanted instead

you breaking up with me
was probably your worst mistake
and I'm not sure
how much more pain I can take

but I’ll do my best
to wipe away my tears
and hold my head up
and watch you disappear
