Today my heart was soaring
It felt like old times
We were laughing
Joking
Talking
I couldn’t believe the moment

You had been ignoring me
Pushing me away
No matter what,
I never even caught your gaze

I’d cry at night
Wondering why things had to change
Wishing things would go back
To when we were friends, maybe more
Dieing for just one more day

One more day of friendship
One more day of truth
One more day of laughter
One more day of you

But today
All my tears were taken
All my pain was healed
My broken heart mended
And all this was your doing

Today you reminded my why I love you
