Red rose

I once met a man that thought he was smart.
He said if I took off my shirt he could read my heart.
and i thought to myself, theres no way thats true.
though I'm curious what should i do?
should i take off my shirt and let him read?
should i tell the cops he's harassing me?
what if he actually can read my heart if i take off my shirt?
OK, ill try it, it couldn't hurt.
i lifted my shirt but he looked at my eyes,
not once did he try to find my bra size.
"your the most beautiful inside and out"
i had no idea what he was talking about.
"every time your cry your heart lets out a scream,

your heart tries to find you but all you do is hide. "
his words were so touching i started to cry.
i put down my shirt with a tearful sigh.
he read me perfectly and it scared me so.
all i could think was "how did he Know"
"you'd be surprised" he said to me.
for love you get more than just what you see.
for me i see beauty, that of who you are
i don't care what anyone else says your most beautiful by far."
he kissed me and handed me the bud of a rose
my tear fell on it and it started to grow
i looked up and falls another tear
suddenly i awoke and it all disappeared.
"i knew it wasn't true" i thought, "a life I'll never know"
'til i looked in my hand and saw a red rose
