Even Though...(For Shaun)

--Shaun, Sorry I didn't keep my promises and I hurt you pretty bad, but I admit my myself and apologize but I wish you luck in the future!

I feel your pain within me....
every piece that fell from your heart
and even though I could of mended it,
I managed to just rip it apart.

I hear your prayers....
I've found all the hope you lost
and even though I could return it,
I keep it at my own cost.

I saw the tears....
every drop that fell from your eyes
and even though I could of dried them,
I ceased to even try.

I smelt the embers....
that were left from your mind
and even though I could of extinguished the fire,
I left it behind.

I tasted the darkness.....
that melted the light of your soul.
and even though I could of recaptured it,
I chose to let it go.

    totally beautiful, sad but its admitting your own faults which is so much harder than laying the blame on others. amazing work. you can write whatever style you want. loved it.
