Jekyll & Hyde

by Kayleigh Hogg   Apr 29, 2005

As jealousy rears its ugly head
Your body's raging, your eyes blood red
Your words exhaling poison to the air
Which smothers my heart with pain and despair

Your bruised pride is making a stand
My heart is weakened by your anger's demand
Your evil words burn deep in my skin
I can see in your eyes the original sin

Like an eclipse, your face is disguised
From the darkness, tears of remorse you cried
Like a broken child, you fall into my arms
One kiss to my lips and i forget the harm

One glimpse of my weakness
Your tears had lied
Goodbye Jekyll
Hello Hyde.

Not exactly sure what/who Jekyll and Hyde are, but i still enjoyed the emotions and truth displayed, powerful and a flare for words!
