Overload

by katie!   Apr 29, 2005

My mind is overloading with the troubles in my heart
Slipping down an empty slide through my pain
I reached out to you, but now I want to pull back
I am drowning you in my sorrows, Driving you insane

Within myself I wear this burden made of anger
Like a death defying jerk into reality and life
Pull me around in different daring directions
But at the end of the road, I can only see strife

I will stop pulling you down with me, take this path alone
Like a gory ressurection I will face my tears
With the food left uneaten and the gashes on my arms
With the drugs left lying, No one hears, No one hears

Incosiderate, but now I will change, you will see only smiles
As the blood slides through my hands
A crimson salute upon my bitter hatred of life
All I wanted was someone to understand
