There are times when I sit and wonder
Wonder about nothing and everything all at once

There are times when I carry the weight of countless burdens over my shoulder
Where I’m continuously trying to reach the summit of a never-ending mountain
And I can turn nowhere else but to the heavens
And ask why

There are times when I feel to give up
When I feel that I can’t go any further
When I’m beaten down so much that this time I can’t get up
And I can turn nowhere else but to the heavens
And ask why

And God answers,
You are my child and I will never give you more than you can handle
And I can only give you what you deserve
And I allow you to face your trials so you won’t forget me
And most importantly, I love you.
