I was in love with another at the time that I realized something my heart had held in a secrecy so divine,

It was that long ago when the nights froze with hate and bitter-sweet love that I realized that I wanted you to be mine,

But a portion of me loved another source for unknown reasons despite his torturous and menacing ways,

I kept these undiscovered feelings deep within my own soul for limitless time until I found the right day,

The other was gone no longer to hold me back from the unseen abuse of my mind and soul to forever be bound within,

I would tell you today in hopes that you would understand why I hadn't said a word and listened to the others every whining whim,

From now and here on I would be yours forever to never be condemned to the fate that had succumb to me all the distant time ago,

No more times would I be in the my bed crying the tears of pure defeat because even in love I was alone,

You would be there to hold me and keep me from this insanity that speaks my name in the dead of night,

You would be the final key to unlock the doors of the prison in my mind; the seemingly ray of undying holy light,
