Look into my eyes,
See the tears threatening to pour,
Look deep into my tears,
Tell me what you’re looking for,

Are you looking for an answer?
To tell you why I'm sad,
Are you looking for a reason?
For me to be feeling bad,

Well I don't have one in my head,
It’s not reflected in my tears,
By looking into this mascara mess,
You will not discover my fears,

They do not lie open for you,
My heart isn't quite on a plate,
I wish I didn't cry like this,
But this just seems to be my fate,

Don't ask me why I'm crying,
As the tears roll down my face,
If I want to tell you,
Ill tell you at my own pace,

So if you are concerned,
If you want to make me smile,
Then let me know you're here,
And hug me for a while,

Sometimes I wish that you,
Would not just ask if I'm OK,
But because I never take action,
I'll always be waiting for that day.
