Self Worth

by SpillCanvas   May 1, 2005

Sometimes I feel invisible,
Like no one else can see,
That I'm standing right in front of them,
Just trying to be me.
Sometimes I feel so different,
Like I'll never be the same.
Like I'll always be an outsider,
And life is one cruel game.
Sometimes I feel so lonely,
When no one else is around,
Like I could scream and yell and shout,
Yet never make a sound.
Sometimes I look in the mirror,
And hate everything I see,
Then I realized, be happy,
I should like me 'cuz I'm me.
I shouldn't care what people see,
Or if they disagree.
I should love it that I'm different,
'Cuz that's just what makes me me.
