Alone

Everyone has been hurt,
a very strong word
same amount of letters as love
and is where hurt is born

everyone I ever cared for
just left me there so
they left me alone restrained
I'm a prisoner without chains

unknown hands grab
shred my heart tethers and all
to this I do get mad
but I can't see the person brawling

to whom does the returned pain owe
I can't handle it in the dark anymore
To the end I fight,
stepping into the warm light
yet I see no one
only myself pained alone
