Stay

by Morgana   May 1, 2005

When your on the verge of breaking down
Remember me and don’t you frown
Look back on all the times we shared
And don’t forget how much fun we had

I see you at recess, I see you at lunch
You seem upset and so confused
I try to talk but you turn away
You pretend that im not there, that its just empty and bare

Remember that day when your parents died
You screamed and screamed and then you cried
I dried your eyes from every tear
And then I comforted you, you had no fear

But now that’s changed and you are just the same
Rejection comes and you still don’t care
You lied to me and to your family
You said you’d be all right, but clearly its not

Where are they taking you? Please don’t leave
Tell them you’re not ok and then you can stay
Just let it out, you won’t be judged
For you will be cared for… and finally loved.
