Why

I love this person,
Down past their skin,
Down past their depressed emotions.

I feel bad that I cant do anything,
To help as what they feel,
But I want to be with them.

I want to help them,
Make them happy,
Spread my spirit.

And no matter how hard I try,
I never get anything,
Only sometimes a heartless thanks.

But I love them so,
And if only they would understand,
How much I could help them.

But I get no chance,
They wont listen,
They dont care,
So yet again I'm left in the dark,
With the sad truth,
That they dont love me.

    hmm, not your best, but still pretty good. and i bet the person does love you back, its just hard for them to be able to accept your love, and show you theirs, especially if they are depressed. i wudnt take it personally if i were you.
