The Dance

by Rikki   May 1, 2005

He stands there silent and strong,
Not caring if it's right or wrong
Just loving it, loving it more than life
I think his soul the devil did kife
For only the devil himself could dance with such flame,
setting the world on fire, nothing ever the same
And I, his dark angel, watch him in silence
My heart is aflame and my eyes intense
As I watch my love make beauty in his dance
And I am lost in it, lost in this enchanting romance

I am fond of dancing, though I am no experienced one. A great example from the heart. Read some of my work if you find the time.
