I'm still in love with you
I don't even know why
But I just can't seem to let you go
Your entire being consumes me
And the memories overflow my mind

I wish I could keep you dormant
But your image just keeps on resurfacing
So many memories of you and I
But just one keeps replaying in my thoughts

You told me forever
Forever must be short to you
Since we ended before forever could even start
And I know that I'm still wanting forever with you

I hate the fact that I'd run straight back into your arms
If you ever asked me to
Because I know you can hurt me whenever you want
All you'd have to do is walk away
If you broke my heart again, it'd be my end for sure

I'm still in love with you
Each and every night I pray for your return
You're still my world
Even if its battered and bruised
My heart still yearns for you

    OMG! i know exactly how you feel! im dating a guy, i love him, but my ex is the one that i want to be with forever. we dated for 9 months and then he told me that he didnt love me anymore, and now he is dating another. i found out last night and ive been absolutely heartbroken all day today. Havent been able to think straight etx. k wow sorry bout that. but yea i def know how you feel! n that was a GREATTTT poem! i absolutely loved it! keep up the good work.
