White Lies and Poison Eyes

by EpithetPoet   May 1, 2005

Tears stream down my face
Their toxicity in hand
Travel to poison my pores
The vicious cycle made grand

Through my blood
Are the toxins removed
Only to again be free
With thoughts construed

Even as i stare at this light
Only one thought is made
That my tears run red
Freedom by my blade

No one can understand
Even as they say they do
"Your life is worth living"
Though they know it untrue

I hold their poison back
To only burn my eyes
While your words burn my ears
With your vicious white lies

There is nothing for me here
You know it as well as i
It's time for the pain to stop
As i kneel down and cry

With the lies pounding my brain
The poison seeping deeper still
There is only one moment to stop
Only one quest to ultimately fulfill

That quest is death
We all know it well
Be it the stars of heaven
Or the depths of Hell

I am ready....

This is AMAZING girl, totally amazing. Lies can be the demise of someone; quite powerful they are. Well done on this i love it,
