Remember

by Harlequin[let me put you to sleep]   May 2, 2005

I sat here this day thinking of you
How you said you loved me too
But how can you love when you never care?
Leaving me stranded, alone and in despair

Remembering how you used to hold me
You opened my eyes to a world only with you i could see
A world where you were all but here
Remembering how you would turn yourself to my biggest fear

Remember how you would whisper in my ear saying you would never depart
How you left me there, you broke my heart
Oh how you did, it fell to my feet shattering to pieces, for me to mend
Standing in the cold, holding my heart in my hand, hoping for an unjustified end

I now begin to see what you did to my broken essence
You opened my eyes, so I can see what’s behind your concrete fence
A blackened core, your mind possessed by voracity, and hate
But what I do tonight for you will be too late

Where I come to your door and show you my craze
Give you the kiss of death, in which you daze
I love you, I love my hands, I love your neck
Combine them; I love this moment, where you fall and hit the deck

Your face, illuminated in bereavement, demise, a chaotic lovers clasp
My love for you shows, in your headstone, your ever-lasting deathly grasp
No one knowing I did this to you.
Good night, my love eternally sleep tight, hope you wish the same for me too.
