Thanks for acting like you cared
When we were together
I really thought we could get quite far
I thought we’d be “us” forever

Now I know what you’re really like
You didn’t me at all
You were only here to laugh at me
When you finally let me fall

All I can say is Go to Hell
I don’t want you around
Go find someone else to hurt
Just leave me safe and sound

I guess I should be thanking you
You taught me something new
To never ever trust a guy
Who might turn out like you

    Hmmm... I was looking forward to finding a religious poem :o) LOL
    If you are like me you have to write what you feel. Any poem that comes from the heart is good.
    Love can really hurt sometimes, just don't judge ALL guys from what this ONE put you through. Just as there are good and bad women out there... there are also good and bad men. Keep looking and don't settle for anything less than the best!! He's out there and you'll find him!
