Lost a friend

I lost a friend just recently,
she was so beautiful and loved,
why could god take someone like her
way from us all

she was so loved by many,
had so many goals and dreams,
she was always full of laughter,
and always made you smile,

her life had only began,
she only was 15 years old,
i guess that party that night
wasn't worth it at all,

she got behind the wheel,
too drunk to even think,
oh why didn't she wear a seat belt,
why did she have so much to drink,

that day Katelyn was taken from us
she will be dearly miss,
she will be in our hearts for ever,
because she was the best.
