From the moment we meet
Somehow I knew I’d end up hurt

You standing there with your incredible smile
Leading me inevitably through a phase of denile

At the time I didn’t see
Just exactly how much heartache you’d bring to me

As it turned out it was just a crush
And I could only take so much

I expected a whole lot more from you
I guess that’s where my mistake was done
What am I suppose to do now...cry cause your gone

I think not.. If I learned anything from you
It’s to be careful who I choose
I wouldn’t want them to end up anything like you

I guess trusting you was my mistake
Sadly a mistake again I’d gladly make
