Midnight Tears and Dreams

by Jacklyn   May 2, 2005

My pain remains a mystery,
Of clues you can’t decode,
For everyone who thinks I’m happy,
It’s time to say your wrong.

For those who thing they know me,
Are farthest from my heart.
But please don’t blame yourself,
I was the problem all along.

Don’t blame your eyes for never seeing,
This swirling pain within me.
No one has ever seen the real me,
Who’s frozen cold and lonely.

No one has seen these midnight tears or dreams,
Of those tears drowning me in my sleep.
Midnight dreams of being just an ounce of happy,
No one has seen these two steams drenching my sheets,
Overflowing in my reality and my midnight dreams.

Hun - i wish sometimes, your pain was erasable. Stay strong although at times it is hard. This poem was saddening, but had a very intrigiuing style to it, the title grabbed me first. Well done <3

    Love yah always my friend,
