Striving to be Perfect??

...this is for those who are always striving to look perfect(in every way, weight, and looks)and to be perfect...

To her average was not good enough, she had to be the best
Do what she does better than the rest,
Looks came first and her school work followed, the more she failed, the less she swallowed.
Her wrist she cut, until they would bleed, she just would not get the help that she did need.
Her boyfriend left her, and work piled up, so she turned to pills,
She was doing all this against her own will,
She could of been stopped, but no one knew
No one knew she was so blue,
A beautiful brown eyed girl, with locks of gold,
had so many secrets left untold, with a hand full of pills, and the swipe of a blade, in a puddle of her own blood was where she laid.

..depression is the story of my life, welcome to it from my point of view, demented? maybe just a little, but this is the things that we have to look at ya know? it happends, it's scary...
