Letter from you

by Sabine Taylor   May 3, 2005

Letter from you
Just a piece of paper
That’s how it seems
But it can do
So much more
That’s what I know
When I see your rolling handwriting
Giving me comfort
As if you would hold me close
Though you are far away

Reading your salutation
Written grand in neat letters
My dear darling
So there can be no doubt
That I am the one you think about
Far away you are
But close I hold
The warmness of your words
In my hands

The letter so full
Of feelings we both share
Deep in side
Reflected partly on this piece of paper
Which means so much to me
Though it took days to come from yours
To mine by air plane
I still can smell your flavor
So pure and smart
Like a huge hug
Though you are so far away

Impressions and notions
Awoken in my sanity
To a new picture of you
Sitting in your room
Thinking about what I might do
Like I do now
My feelings so cozy and warm
Flying over to you
As a new letter
Which means so much more
When I add the last words
On my little piece of paper
Forever yours in love

*Please, tell me what you think.
Thank you a lot.

Yours Sabine
