The soldiers

by Gem   May 3, 2005

The soldiers, they march,
Into the unknown.
Not knowing exactly,
When they'll be home.

They can't stop to think,
They have a job to carry out.
They have to hide all emotions,
Not allowed to scream and shout.

It takes a brave man,
to march into a war.
Readying their guns,
Ignoring the law.

They have to live,
with killing another man.
For no reason at all,
except for a bit of land.

They must do as their asked,
Without demanding why?
Each soldier praying,
That they do not die.

The soldiers, they march,
Into the unknown.
Not knowing exactly,
If they'll make it home.

(Just a poem i wrote after listening to Eminem's Mosh, Tis a good song, lol. Comment/Vote please!! Let me know your views! Thank you xx)
