Beautiful Tear

by erin   May 3, 2005

The pain forms in you heart.
You keep it inside till it rips you apart.
You numb yourself by cutting your arm.
Your one escape is self-harm.

You control your physical pain.
Making sure to keep your aim.
Your heart screams,
As your vein bleeds.

Crimson flows from your eyes.
For a moment the pain subsides.
You slowly witness each fear,
All that’s left is a beautiful tear.

Keep on smiling with your friends.
Don’t tell anyone it’ almost the end.
Hide your wrists from everyone’s sight.
Find your blade and grip it tight.

In the darkness of your room you fade.
You’re lost inside this sick parade.
Your just a broken child,
With an obscene way in keeping the pain mild.

Crimson flows from your eyes.
For a moment the pain subsides.
You slowly witness each fear,
All that’s left is a beautiful tear.
