Your favorite skinny mirror

by Dead As Yesterday   May 3, 2005

You told me that you broke your favorite skinny mirror
But a beauty such as yours could never reflect quite clear
You are flawless in your motions full of grace and poise
To see you with my own eyes would be my only choice

As the sunlight dances upon you shining from high above
Your smile melts my lonesome heart fills me full of love
Your eyes are full of mystery and someday I’ll find the key
I’ll take you to a special place and show you the real me

Your body is just smoking you couldn’t buy that in a store
My lonely eyes drink it in as you leave me wanting more
But beauty on the outside isn’t all that you possess
It’s your beauty on the inside that makes me love you best
