Today

I wanted to talk to you today
but somehow i didn't know how.
everything got in the way
and what i wanted to i just couldn't say.
i guess maybe today
just wasn't a good day
to tell you about the way
that i feel when i see you every day.
i'll try again tomorrow
hopefully i won't be filled with regret
and drowned in sorrow
but if we are meant to be
i know it will work.
