Clear a Path (cutting/suicide)

by Tasha   May 3, 2005

You think you know?
You've got no clue
You can't begin to imagine
The stuff she's been through

A broken family
A torn heart
Her entire world
Is being ripped apart

She has no control
Just her and her knife
It's her only friend
In her mixed up life

She's depressed, suicidal and crazed
Clear a path so she can find her way
She don't think she can stand it
The feelings of yet another day

Her friends don't know it
Or they'd try to help her
But this life is a sickness
And death is the only cure

She won't tell a soul;
She'll write it all down
About how no one ever noticed
She always wore a frown

Tell her family she loves them
Even though they won't care
I guess this proved her point
Life is never fair
