Such Revenge

by DMG   May 4, 2005

I swear it wasn't me I plead!
There before me he does bleed.
No way in Hell did I do this!
The crimson lips of poison kiss.
I wouldn't, couldn't, it’s not me!
There he drowns, a blood filled sea.
No! No! I'd never! No!
The blood of River Styx doth flow.
God! Please! I swear! I swear!
Light of darkness strokes his hair.
Stop! Help! You all! I'll die!
Even those past this life can cry.
No! Oh God! Just let me be!
The lifeless soul has been set free.
I swear! Don’t let go of my hand!
The innocent, through lies, are damned.
No! God! Nooooooooooooo!
The fading call of my echo.

The loss of a dearest friend
Drives the sane to just beyond
As if the dead and living souls
Between the two, they share a bond
And when one of them is no more
The other, therefore, must avenge
But sometimes innocent victims
Lose their lives in such revenge.
