Best Friends

To be best friends
It doesn't take a lot
You just have to be yourself
Not something that you're not

Always honest
And trustworthy
You have to listen
And be there for me

Someone to stand by
A shoulder to lean on
To be able to cry to
Dusk until dawn

Who feels what I feel
And isn't afraid
Who'll chase away my nightmares
And who is always brave

Someone you love
And can tell anything to
This poem I speak of
Friend it is you.
