Me

by DeludedHonesty   May 4, 2005

Who am I,
Why do you ask,
I can not tell you,
For I don't know.

I used to be Jessica,
A good friend,
Who'd keep secrets,
And comfort you.

Then I was Shuichi,
Happy and bubbly,
Who always had good advice,
The one with common sense.

Then I was Shui,
A sweet girlfriend,
A loyal and trustworthy friend,
Always there for you.

But I have changed,
I don't know who I am,
and I'm scared.

No, I know who I am,
I'm a gossip,
Ruining people's lives,
With my sharp tongue.

A fair-weather friend,
Not always there,
And not always willing,
to talk.

I'm a liar,
Telling falsehoods,
Getting out of things,
Misleading others.

I know who I am,
But I wish,
That wasn't,
Me.
