Chrysalis

by Liz   May 4, 2005

My life is concealed,
Within this hideous shell,
A solid exterior,
Hiding my passion.

Like the colourful butterfly,
Hidden in its chrysalis,
Darkly woven case,
But beautiful within.

I cannot be seen,
By the human world.

My life is disguised,
My mask is parading.

heya hun, just wonted to let you know how much that poem touched me.. have just been reading through a few of your latest and the entire mood seems to have changed. you sound really down and im sorry that your feeling that way. Also I'd like to mention that whatever your mind's telling you at the moment, you are a worthy, talented person and you cannot listen to those who say otherwise. some people are just there to make life into living hell and as im sure you well know, they, not you, are the ones who do not deserve to be a part of this world. Although I have not met you personally, as you are aware I knew Naomi fairly well and she spoke very highly of you which should be taken into account because she struck me as a very genuine person. Hope you can lift your head high and keep on moving coz you deserve to. Good luck sweetie,
