Heres the girl
unsure of herself
no knowing what she wants
a cry for help

she acted like it was OK
like nothing was the matter
yet beneath the facade
you could hear her heart shatter

with every person who asked her
if she was alright
to her made her work harder

everyday it was the same routine
yet she found nothing to fill

he wanted to get her heart
as he gave to her long ago
she knew she had his heart
but of hers she would let go

so she dated another guy
and knew it wasn't right
yet she still flirted with him
and talked to him all night

they talked
as if they were going out
yet he still knew
he was with ought

she felt nothing for her boyfriend
he knew this was true
he still stuck with her
cuz her...he didn't wanna lose
