I don't want to understand her problems,
I don't want to feel her pain,
I don't want to be a part of
The girl who's driving me insane.

I don't want to be her comfort,
I don't want to be her disguise,
I don't want to have to listen,
When she speaks her bitter lies.

I don't want to tell her it's all right,
I don't want to be trapped here,
I don't want to have to hold her,
Everytime she sheds a tear.

I don't want to sit back and do nothing,
As they laugh when she walks by,
I don't want her to keep me locked in here
When she needs me on the other side.

I don't want to hear the happiness in her voice,
When I know that it is fake.
I don't want to feel her tremble,
Each time her heart begins to break.

I don't want to feel the pain,
As the blood slides down her wrist.
I don't want to be the reason,
That she gets it over with.

I don't want to feel her tears,
Streaming down my cheek.
I don't want to be a part of the girl
Who's living inside of me.
