My fathers call me

by Jordan   May 5, 2005

Ive lived my life
so hopeful and true
from the time that I was born
but my life is written
in the web woven by the norns
I must strive for greatness
and valiant I must be
until Oden calls me home
and the glorious hall of Valhalla
my eyes will get to see
my people and I shall unite
and drink from Heidrun\'s udders
my fathers and I shall feast
and get to know each other
oh how I long for the day
when all father calls me home
after all my battles
and after I have grown
I will leave my family
but in their hearts they\'ll know
he\'s gone to the halls of Valhalla
it\'s where his heart was called to go
my fathers call me
in my dreams when I sleep
they want for me to join them
in the eternal feast
and someday my brothers
you\'ll see my smiling face
we will come together
and we will all embrace
not now though my brothers
I have a life to live
for the glory of you all
and Oden my sword I give
give me strength in battle
until Bragi welcomes me
and the Valkyries carry me inside
and my people I get to see
