i know you've tried to understand,

or been there to hold your hand,

made you think you're all alone,
i would have ran a mile to you,
if only i had known,

I've been trying to sort things out,
the feelings inside my heart,
my feelings for my boyfriend,
and the fact we've been apart,

i didn't mean to disappoint you,
or make you feel like you're flying solo

i may not always be by your side in body,
