Tuesday (true story)

by Becca1111   May 5, 2005

Once there was a girl,
Her name was Tuesday,
She rarely listened to her parents,
She just did things her own way,
Until one day,
Her parents called her and her brother into the living room,
And they told them,
Their father was going to war,
The day that he left on the bus,
Tuesday and her mother cried,
Her brother just stood there in disbelief,
Her father was gone,
With school stress and the fear of her father never coming back,
Tuesday had been sad since the 5th grade,
One night as she sat in her room,
She had spotted her math compass on the floor,
She wondered what it would be like,
So she picked it up,
Placed it on her left inner forearm,
And drug it to towards her elbow,
Now Tuesday had crossed the line between sad and severely suicidal,
She knew, but she didn't care,
The cheery , happy girl that everyone had known,
Is now gone.
