Barely here

by BryannaR   May 5, 2005

Darkness prevails in our minds
Light does not consume the fear
It is hard to read the signs
One can see I'm barely here

Sadness breaks upon our soul
Try in vain to hide the tear
The tears of hope that we stole
Wishes fall, I'm barely here

When all becomes lost to us
When the times become queer
It won't matter if you trust
I have found I'm barely here

Something conquers the darkness
Love is lasting, and truly pure
Unless I find you're heartless
We are lost, and I'm barely here

Motives kept under a lie
Ambitions are never clear
How can we see eye to eye
When I am barely here
