Once there was a little kid
Who wore dresses all the time
She painted her daddy pictures
And to everyone she was only kind.
She never worried about anything
A kid is what she was
She played with her friends everyday
And they did what ever kid does.
She then turned into a little child
Who listed to music all day long
Always having the dream
Of being famous and singing her own songs.
She didn't have many friends
Just the people in her family
She hated going to school
Because the kids there only teased her constantly.
From there she became a little girl
Who was just trying to fit in
Doing everything her friends did
Even if it was a sin.
Not having a care
About the thoughts circling in her mind
Depression starting to sneak in
Coming slowly but un noticed from behind.
Then she turned into a pre-teen
Who cussed and wore tight clothes
She could never even keep track
How many times she got called a s l u t or a h o e.
She wanted to be like everyone else
And finally get hit on by a guy
But her depression made her sad and angry
And made her feel like she wanted to die.
Now this child is a teenage girl
A lonely one to be exact
She pretends not to be in pain
But everyone knows it's only a good act
Faded scars on her wrist
And bleeding ones on her heart
She only wonders how anyone can ask
Why she's completely torn apart.
