To see her eyes with tears again,
To see her smile fade, her face in shadow,
To hear her cry at night on the phone,
Makes me so angry at them.

Treated once again so badly,
The lies begin to unravel once more,
and she cry's to me because she has to hide this,
This pain she keeps inside her breaking heart.

And each time she feels betrayed again,
It seems as though she strains a little more,
To keep in hidden, to make herself look strong,
If only she'd see how weakness is not shameful.
