Final Goodbye

by sHaTtErEdMiStAkE   May 6, 2005

She sits all alone
At the lunch tables during school
She doesn't have any friends
And looks like a big fool.
She dresses all sloppy
Never having a care
But deep inside
She wants to ask for friends, but doesn't dare.
She looks at them
With pleading eyes
But still she has no friends
She just wants to cry.
She wonders why they don't like her
And why they don't want to be her friend
Now she starts thinking
About ways for her life to end.
She's never been happy
Never having a reason to smile
She hates her life
Doesn't think it's worthwhile.
The day she died
She took that rope
And put it around her neck
Hoping with these decisions her family could cope.
But before she died
She wrote everyone a note
And on it said:
I have no will
To stay alive
There's nobody here
And i just want to die
There's no one here who cares
And no reason to stay
I'm really sorry
But i can't live another day
So here's my last words
My final goodbye
Don't be sad
And please don't ask why.

I like this piece. The flow does get off a lot, and tge word choice could be stronger but I like this piece. Great job with emotion cause it just overflows in this piece

Oh, this was too sad. It was really good, though :) The flow was off in some places, but it's easily overlooked by how much emotion is in the poem.
