Ful-filling Her Destiny

by .Just Jessie.   May 6, 2005

They were always together
Never were they apart
They cared for each other so much
Loving with the whole heart

This boy and this girl
Were the best of friends
Always there when needed
Thinking their ways of thinking would never end

Would talk everyday
Spend time with one another
Were closer than most
Sisters and brothers

The love they shared
Continued to grow
Until the boy let on a third wheel
He wasn't afraid for his love to show

The friend was all of a sudden
Kicked to the side
He made her feel unloved and unwanted
Like she wanted to die

He never talked to her
No words for weeks
She felt all alone
They use to always speak

What the girl didn't know
While he was with his love he on only thought of her
He missed her so much
He wanted to be with her

The girl felt
As if she were an outcast
Someone to die all alone was her destiny
She had to get him off her mind fast

As she put the gun to her head
She cried and whispered "I love you"
Pulled the trigger, was dead
And not a soul beyond her knew

Right outside her house was the boy
Coming to tell the good news
He had left his girlfriend
It was her that he did choose

But while her thought
Of what he wanted to say
He heared the gun fire
And ran to try to save her day

It was an instinct
He knew it was her
But he just had to be wrong
He had to know for sure

By the time he arrived
She was already gone
While he laid in her blood
It was for her that he did long

He decided it was his turn
He didn't want her to be alone again
He put the gun to his head
Pulled the trigger and then,

Nothing had happened
He was still there alive
But the gun was full
How could this be he began to realize,

Suicide was not the answer
It was a miracle you see
He could had died with her
But instead he helped ful-fill her destiny

He let her go
And got up off his knees
Slowly dialed 911
And said "Can you come quick, please?"

He gave the address
With a sniffle and a sigh
Wiped his tears
And let his mind start to wonder why

She had wanted him to be happy
Careless and free
When the cop said "Shes gone now, son"
The boy answered back "No, she'll always be here with me."
