Oh my god you didn't did you?
that was all you had to say,
little did you realize how hard it was
for me to tel you what I'd become that day,

disappointment was on your face
you held your head in your hands,
i began to wander, if at all
you would ever understand.

I'm not all you want me to be,
I'm not all that strong,
but one thing i love is you
the way you prove me wrong.

a gentle word of encouragement
a simple word of hope,
a little reminder of inspiration
when i seem unable to cope,

a simple phrase "you're amazing"
"no one can cope as well as you",
theres one thing you fail to realize
I'm finding it so hard to stay true.

but you are always there for me, telling me I'm going to be alright,
i just wish for once i could believe you
and not cry any tears tonight.
