Wish Upon A Star

I look at the moon, i watch the sky, wishing i was a star, as i begin to cry.

up near the dark clouds, a star in the night, no worries no problems, shining so bright

a star people could look at, admire for a day, a star people would wish for, a light to help show the way

but i am not, I'm just a troubled boy, with problems and issues, who will most likely never feel that joy

so i go on through life, with a fake smile hiding my scar, fighting to survive, wishing upon a star
