This morning you got into a wreck
And i realized that I could've lost you
I have thanked God a million times already
Because without you here I wouldn't know what to do.
When I finally got a hold of you today
I couldn't believe what you were telling me
I just said to myself
Oh God please don't let this be.
You got a startling phone call
Telling you that your friend who was sitting next to you just died.
After you told me this
I just wanted to break down and cry.
You told me that you would be alright
And that it would be OK
I'm so thankful that God let you live
To see the rest of today.

More than words could ever say
And if i would have lost you in that car wreck
I think i would have killed myself today.
Because without you here
Being in my everyday life
I would only be able to feel
A constant  pain and strife.
