My Bleeding Heart

by The Abstruse One   May 6, 2005

My bleeding heart is locked inside the palm of your hand
As the blood seeps through onto your pants
You realize how much I care for you
You tried to sew my heart up
But it was so mangled, you failed to do so

As my heart continues to bleed you ask yourself
Is it ever going to stop? My response was simple
It will keep bleeding as long as I care for you
Therefore prepare to let me bleed forever
You looked dazed and confused, but then it hit you

Your sweet breath glides along my body's face
As it cries neverending tears of blood
I wish you knew how I really felt
I felt your heart beat today, and it was the most beautiful thing in the world
