I can't compete, I can't win.
The prizes have been awarded,
And I came up short, again.

I'm fighting here, fighting hard.
But you don't even notice,
You've got a gold medalist.

My struggle goes unnoticed.
Others fighting for bigger things.
You've got your attention elsewhere.

You can't see in front of you.
