We always said together forever and it didn't even last a year
I really did love you and still do although it may not be clear
Well you have moved on and now your with her
I still dint know how but our past is just a blur
I tried to move on when I found him
but is just like shooting a basketball
knowing your only going to hit the rim.
People say love is so great I think its a stupid game of Taboo
you just happen to have been the best opponent to run into
Now I walk down the hall looking for you
cause no matter what I can never find someone new
So I write this poem to tell you the truth
after all I guess you should know while we are still in our youth
